Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • ½ cup kale, stems removed
  • 1 medium banana, frozen
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp spirulina powder or matcha powder
  • 1 to 1½ cups unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup ice cubes (optional)

Method
 

  1. Wash the spinach and kale thoroughly.
  2. Add almond milk to the blender first.
  3. Add spinach, kale, banana, avocado, chia seeds, and spirulina or matcha powder.
  4. Blend until creamy and smooth.
  5. Add ice cubes for a colder texture and blend again.
  6. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
