  • ½–1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2-4 tbsp olive oil
  • 4-6 garlic cloves
  • 1-2 onions, quartered
  • Handful fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, sage)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon or orange, halved (optional)
  • 1-2 cups chicken or turkey broth

Method
